On March 18, 2025, Psionic’s cutting-edge tech took to the skies aboard a NASA F-18 fighter jet, proving its potential to revolutionize space exploration. As part of the REaKTOR family, managed by Innovate Hampton Roads, Psionic is putting Hampton, Virginia, on the map as a hub for groundbreaking innovation.

Their PSNDL system is a game-changer, offering precise navigation in GPS-denied environments—think lunar landings or Mars missions where traditional GPS just won’t cut it. The recent test at NASA’s Armstrong Flight Research Center saw Psionic’s system perform flawlessly at 30,000 feet and speeds nearing Mach 1. Mounted on the F-18, the PSNDL delivered real-time terrain mapping and navigation precision, a critical step toward its use in future space missions.
